Adrian LaurentiuFIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER (UGANDA)
Adrian was born, raised and educated in Bucharest, Romania, from a family of engineers. In 2004 he graduated from a Music University with a bachelor's degree in Music Pedagogy and started teaching at high school level. He worked in this role as a music teacher for eight years.
In time he became more interested in international relations, world environmental causes and third world issues. He set himself a goal to work in this field and try to make a difference. As a result he enrolled in school again. In 2013 he received a bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Studies. He then followed that up by earning a master's degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Techniques, graduating in 2015.
While still a student working towards his master's degree he started to travel periodically to Uganda and get involved in all kinds of volunteering work. This included raising funds with some volunteers he met in Uganda and drilling a water well for a poor community with no access to clean water in Mbale district.
His current work with wells of life is very rewarding. Most of his work and free time is dedicated to Wells Of Life activities as he wants to make a difference, along with the WOL team, in improving poor people's lives across Uganda.
