Look What You've Done!
When the need arose due to the pandemic, Wells of Life responded immediately. We were among the first to serve people in need, going all the way back to last April of 2020.
Charles Peter Mayiga, Prime Minister of the Buganda Kingdom, praised the services of Wells of Life when he said, “Wells of Life is a gift of God to the people of Uganda. We depend on their commitment to water and health. We are immensely blessed by the good deeds of this generous, lifesaving charity. Thank you!”
The impact of any charity rests solely on the strength of its donors, the people who support the organization with time, treasure, and talents. That means YOU! You are the reason Wells of Life has profoundly impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of the poorest people in Uganda.
Even with the restrictions we faced dealing with the Covid pandemic, so far Wells of Life has provided clean water to more than 60,000 people in 2020; and we are working hard to increase that number significantly during the final
month of December. Stay tuned for a complete 2020 recap in the January issue of The Well.
Nearly 19,000 large “bars” of hand soap, serving up to 130,000 families or individuals.
250 Face shields for healthcare workers in the Mityana General Hospital and the Mubende Regional Hospital
80 large handwashing stations were constructed for 40 primary schools. Each school was also given 4 gallons of liquid soap.
